Pixelate is a 10x12 grid of frosted acrylic, square lights carved out of a solid wood chassis. The size is exactly 8.5x11", the same as a piece of paper, and allows you to "paint" with light! This piece is inspired by Lite Brite, Etch a Sketch, and our love of both mid-century modern and '80s retro aesthetics. The row of colorful computer keys on the bottom left allows you to choose your color, and the rows of buttons along the X and Y axis can be pressed at the same time to light up a square in your desired location. This piece also features the ability to store a library of images, and an idle-mode animation that lights up random squares with rotating colors in a twinkling pattern.
