We placed our first big parts order!

The microcontrollers and sound cards are on their way.

We took the first physical steps in WonderSynth Kickstarter batch production!

Over these past two weeks we've finally moved past computer work and into the workshop. We'll be making a batch of 85 synths, and we're starting with the wooden enclosures. On the 10th we picked up 39 board feet of white oak, and headed to the Maker's Space to process it. This meant cutting huge boards down into 2-foot lengths, and then splitting them to a 5" width. We've also completed the first jig we'll use to make gluing the enclosures much easier.

Narah finished a painting.

Narah is also a painter in her free time, and over the past two weeks she finally got around to finishing a painting she started over a year ago. It features a black to white gradient of straight lines that resembles a a window or portal. She plans to make more of these in the near future!

Things that have inspired us lately.

vibrant sunset at the grocery store / trippy clouds with optical illusion-esque pattern / Widow's Bay (particularly Kate O'Flynn's incredible performance!) / Vince Staples new album: Cry Baby
